The women’s project “Empowerment of Afghan Women (Ages 16 to 50+) in Neukölln” offers a variety of educational programs. Activities such as field trips, museum visits, and cooking classes are designed to facilitate integration in Germany.

Part of the project is a computer course. It takes place every week in Neukölln and is conducted in Dari/Farsi. Participants learn how to use the internet to look for housing, find jobs, search for German language courses, and more. They set up their own email accounts and learn how to write a resume using Word. This helps them with vocational training and finding employment.

Seminars are held once a week at Dari. We discuss topics such as women’s health, women’s rights, parenting, asylum procedures, discrimination, etc.

Individual appointments are available once a week. During these sessions, we provide assistance with issues such as training, school, daycare, work, college, etc.

We also have a WhatsApp group. This is where the women receive all the information directly.
