This program is for young refugees who are new to Berlin: we match them with a friend to serve as a “mentor.” These mentors are also refugees and immigrants who have been living in Germany for 3 to 5 years. They came to Berlin as children or teenagers and know how difficult it can be to settle in. The “friends” show them around the city and help them with everyday life and school.
